Why Organic?

Converting your gardening practices from synthetic to organic methods is becoming more common. There has been much research and development in recent years, and it can get pretty confusing. Our goal is to simplify and clarify the use of natural methods and materials in your lawn and garden, or even in your pasture.

Why Should I Go Organic?

Simply put, organic methods work along with nature to produce healthy growth in your piece of the planet. Synthetic methods force nature to produce more than it was created to produce. Healthy soil produces healthy plants whereas toxic chemicals can destroy the natural balance of the soil food web.

A Few Reasons to Go Organic:

  • Safer: for humans, animals, insects, and the planet
  • Better health: for humans animals, lawns, and the planet
  • Water conservation and preservation: water is not contaminated often in organic systems and less water is required than synthetic programs
  • Soil health and sustainability: due to the building of organic matter and life in the soil
  • Pest reduction: insects are attracted to out-of-balance systems
  • Resource conservation: synthetic fertilizers are derived from fossil fuils, and organic systems enourage recycling and less mowing
  • Financial Savings: over time the soil becomes more independent as it is improve
  • Environmental preservation: including reduction in greenhouse gases
