Our story begins in 2001 as we listened to Howard Garrett "The Dirt Doctor" and began to use Corn Gluten Meal to get rid of grass burrs in our yard.  The next year we noticed a signifcant reduction in weeds in our yard and we began to try a few other things such as Cedar Mulch to repel mosquitos, Compost for our 'beds"  and a few other products. 

When we tried to find some of these products we had to go to Tyler or Dallas to buy them.  On day, we saw an ad in the Athens paper for Athens Organic Supply and that they carried Muenster Dog Food.  To make a long story short, we went to buy dog food and came home with a business.   We opened our store on Fridays and Saturdays or met people by appointment.  That was January 2004. 

The learning began.  Books, magazines, websites, newspapers carried much information and it became a little overwhelming to say the least.  After a year of trial and error, and checking out the marketplace, we decided to jump in all the way.  Our inventory is ever growing with a wide variety of quality products available 6 days a week.  Our Gift Garden contains the unique tools and accessories for gardens and gardeners of all ages.
